Barleylands Farm Park is seeking animal lovers to come down and meet all the animals this summer, enjoy an action-packed day filled with animal encounters!
With more animal encounters and hands on experiences than ever before, the school holidays just aren’t long enough to fit it all in!
Each week at Barleylands, throughout the summer, you’ll find new animal encounters and craft activities will be unveiled, meaning it’s worth coming weekly, just to make sure you don’t miss out on all the wholesome family fun on offer.
Animal adventures include donkey grooming, animal races, lamb bottle feeding, reptile talks and the magnificent Imperial Birds of Prey flying display shows. Not to forget bird spotting in the aviary, pony pampering, visiting Annie and Flora the Highland Cattle in their new home, holding our cute and fluffy baby chicks and meeting the range of animals around the farm.
Barleylands Farm Park Manager, Charlotte Goodman, commented: “The summer holidays at Barleylands are going to be the best yet! We’ve got so many exciting hands on activities and encounters taking place on the farm – with a strong focus this year on getting up close to the animals. Come and see our new Eagle at Imperial Birds of Prey, pamper the ponies, meet our new chicks, watch the animal races and so much more.”
