    Farm Park

The Farm Park is flat with benches positioned throughout and the majority of paths are an all-weather surface. All areas are on ground level apart from Nocturnal and Exotics house which has two levels. There is a wheelchair/pushchair accessible lift to gain entry to the upper floor. Within the farm we have a disabled toilet and if you require adult changing facilities this can be arranged by phoning in advance. Our Tractor and Trailer ride would be accessible to those who could be lifted or climb two steps with assistance.

Automatic doors are in use around the farm, including reception. The reception area is open plan to aid lip reading and visitors with visual impairments. Both the Farm Park map and activity sheet are available in large print when requested in advance.  If you would like to check our daily activities before your visit please click here.

Carers are welcomed into the Farm Park free of charge with an ID card such as a DID card.

If you have any further questions about a visit to the Farm Park please phone 01268 290229 and one of our friendly team will be able to assist.

    The Village

The wonderful studios in The Village are set out over two levels with lift access either side of the Village, making all shops wheelchair/pushchair accessible. Wide corridors and doorways throughout make for an enjoyable shopping experience. There are four disabled toilets situated within The Village, including one within the Tiptree Tea Room.

The Tea Rooms are able to cater for a wide variety of dietary requirements. Please speak to the catering staff for further details.

Guide/assistance dogs are welcome at Barleylands.
