Happy New Year from everyone at Barleylands!
It may not be the start to the year that we had all wished for, however we are remaining positive at Barleylands! Even though we currently remain closed, we will continue to inform you of all the latest going-ons straight from the farm, via our social media channels (Facebook and Instagram) and our email newsletter (sign up here). We are currently in the process of dismantling our Christmas barn and turning it into a maternity ward for our pregnant sheep, the countdown to lambing has well and truly begun! And if hormonal sheep were not enough for our Farm Park team to contend with, we also have lots of pregnant goats who will be ready to kid by Easter!
We really cannot wait for you to all return to Barleylands very soon, it is important however that we all play our part in supporting the Government policy of stopping non-essential travel and minimising social interactions by keeping our farm gates closed. In the meantime, please keep safe, look after each other and thank you for all your support during this tough time.
Please also note that during this time we are running the Farm Park and Office with a limited team and the office will only be open from 9am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday.
