We are the number one Falconry and Bird of Prey Centre in Essex and provides exceptional experience days with owls and birds of prey. Our friendly team will make your experience both personal and enjoyable giving you plenty of hands on time with our amazing and diverse collection of birds – making your visit truly memorable. Educational Displays:
Formally Imperial now Barleylands have extensive experience in school visits and a wealth of knowledge amongst us. Our bird of prey talks are specifically targeted at school children from reception class upwards, including secondary schools, colleges and Universities. They are informative yet fun, ensuring your pupils attention and imagination are captured. We are able to cover a wide range of topics that include conservation, habitat, diet, adaptations and biology and give you the opportunity to be up close and personal with these magnificent birds. We can tailor our visits and educational talks to suit each schools needs and our displays can be performed either indoors or outdoors depending on your location and weather.
(On request, we can also relate our talks to both ‘Owl babies’ and ‘The owl who was afraid of the dark’)

Our exotic animals can entertain you just as much- from our friendly ferret’s tunnel display to our 15ft long Reticulated python! See these animals up close when they show their skills at hunting, playing and even posing for photos! These shows can also be booked alongside our static demonstrations to entertain your customers for the whole day!
