Barleylands are thrilled to welcome back Sparkle Meetings for May Bank Holiday Weekend.They will be with us for 3 days with 3 live shows daily, plus meet & greets and will be bringing along the following characters:Saturday:

Bubbles & Balloons Saturday 24th May – Sunday 1st June
Our customers loved Bubbles & Balloons so much, it was only right that we brought it back for 2025! This May half term, visit Skittleman and Colonel Custard for more magic, mayhem and the very popular bubble workshops! Plus the crazy duo will be doing balloons!

Barleylands Food & Farming Weekend
On Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th June, Barleylands will be hosting a celebration of food and farming.
To give you a feel of what to expect of this weekend, we will be holding a local Farmer’s Market in The Village, showcasing the best of local and fresh produce. Over in our Farm Park, our guests will be able to learn and take part in farming traditions such as learning about harvesting and also have the opportunity for photographs in our Tractors.
There will be fun talks throughout the day, and even a chance to make your own bread roll. There will be lots more information and details shared in the coming weeks, so please keep an eye on our Social Media and Website.
Tickets can be purchased for the 7th and 8th June here
Whilst we don’t want to give away too much right now, we are excited to confirm that you will be able to sample and purchase some of the best wines in Essex from a Vineyard less than 15 miles away. That’s just a teaser, so keep your eyes peeled on our Socials for who will be joining us.
It will be FREE to park and FREE entry to The Village. Once you have had a chance to tantalise those tastebuds, head into the Farm Park for interactive talks, explore farming machinery and even take part in our pop-up workshops.

Spring Country Show (Haddon Events)

What is The Spring Country Show ?
The Spring Country Show is an exciting day out for all the family.
There will be so much to see and do, including thrills with stunt shows featuring Cars, Stunt Motorcycles and fire, Sheep Dog Displays and Birds of Prey Displays.
Come and meet the animals in the Petting Zoo, supplied by Barleylands Farm, Reptile & Birds of Prey Enclosure, including educational displays, and meet Alpacas. Fun Dog Zone with dog shows you can enter on the day, plus have a go at ‘agility’ with your dog.
Live Wrestling shows all day long, Children’s Characters meet and greet. Live Music, Kids Fun Zone and have a go at Archery. Blacksmith demo. Steam Traction Engines.
Go shopping among the variety of food, craft and gift stalls, or just kick back and listen to some great live music, while you enjoy some food from our trusted street food vendors offering something for all tastes, sweet or savoury, including vegetarian and vegan options, and a tasty beer or two from our fully stocked bar.

Haddon Events – Classic Motor Show & Family Fun Day

Haddon Events Classic & Vintage Shows are widely known for their fantastic atmospheres and friendly, fun vibe. The show will feature hundreds of classic and custom vehicles, great live music, DJ, dancing displays, vintage market, trade stands, autojumble, plus a licenced bar and street food from our trusted vendors. For families we have live wrestling, children’s fun area with rides, and more to be added.

Come and browse the huge variety of stalls on offer, enjoy the live music, have a boogie on the dancefloor, watch the live wrestling, get up close and learn about vehicles from our enthusiastic exhibitors, showing off their unique vehicles you would not normally get a chance to see, or get a bite to eat and a drink, and wear the kids out in the children’s fun area.
