What is undercover at the Farm Park? |
We have our indoor play areas at the Farm Park, including our Soft Play Barn, Tiptree Kiosk and Ball Blasters Zone. Our animal barn is also under cover too. |
What animals do you have at the Farm Park? |
We have a selection of farm animals, poultry, small animals, Birds of Prey, nocturnal creatures and exotics at Barleylands. Click here for more information. |

How long can I stay at the Farm Park? |
You are more than welcome to stay until the Farm Park closes, there is no maximum amount of time that you can stay here for. Our farm gates close at 5pm March to October and 4pm November to February. The Farm Park closes early on exceptional dates, please keep an eye on our website and social media for details. |
I am going to be slightly early or late for my pre-booked arrival time, will I still be allowed in? |
Don’t worry these things happen! You will still be allowed to access the Farm Park but please be prepared to wait a few minutes longer at the kiosk while we admit any groups that have already booked in to the timeslot that you have arrived at. |
I would like to bring an extra person with me but I haven’t pre-booked their ticket, what do I do? |
You can purchase additional tickets at the till upon arrival. |
Are dogs allowed on to the Farm Park? |
No, only guide dogs are permitted on to the Farm Park. |
Is there somewhere to get drinking water, a hot drink or snacks? |
We have drinking fountains and water taps to fill your bottles with. We use “What3Words” at Barleylands, and you will find fountains and taps at “alone.trap.camp”, “scope.secret.client”, “vision.gitz.buyers” and “appeal.live.just”.
We also have Tiptree Tea Rooms based just opposite the Farm Park that sells hot drinks and food. Tiptree also have a small kiosk within the Farm Park Indoor Play Barn, which sells hot/cold drinks and snacks. |
Do you have any accessibility information? |
At Barleylands, we like our guests to enjoy the very best experience we can offer and want to make it accessible for all.
We work hard to try and create a relaxing and stress-free environment for parents and children to visit. We have put together a handy accessibility guide that you can download here. |
Can I transfer my booking to a different date? |
Yes, we can move your booking but this can only be organised via email. Please email [email protected] with your booking reference, booking name and date that you would like it to be transferred to. This will then be organised as soon as possible, provided there is availability. |
Do I need to pre-book? |
Pre-booking is recommended and will speed up your admission. However, you are welcome to turn up and pay on the gate. |
Do you accept Blue Peter badges? |
Yes, each child with their own Blue Peter badge may enter free of charge. Please choose ‘voucher entry’ when booking online for the child and bring your badge with you on the day of your visit. This is not valid on Spooky Nights, Father Christmas or Fireworks events.
If booking online please select ‘voucher’ for each child with a Blue Peter badge and remember to bring the badge and their ID card with them on the day. |
Do you accept the East Anglia Pass? |
Yes, one free child may visit with a full paying adult, per pass. Please choose ‘voucher entry’ when booking online for the child and bring your pass with you on the day of your visit. This is not valid on Spooky Nights, Father Christmas or Fireworks events. |
I am a carer, what ID do I need and will I be charged an entry fee? |
Entry to Barleylands Farm Park is £3.00 for carers who are accompanying visitors whose disability necessitates their support. You will be asked for carer ID or a supporting letter at the kiosk. |
