All set for Six Weeks of Summer!
Excitable boys and girls of all ages were brandishing water pistols, donning pith helmets, meeting a huge python, dressing up as a bee keeper, bouncing on space hoppers, modelling balloon hats and meeting birds of prey ahead of the summer holidays and Six Weeks of Summer Fun at Barleylands Farm Park this week.
The Six Weeks of Summer event will run from 27th July to 4th September and promises tonnes of family fun with a new theme every week from Monday to Friday.
Art Attack kicks off the summer with some super size fun. Children will be able to grab a paint filled supersoaker and shoot at the giant canvas, and make their own windmill and suncatcher to take away. In subsequent weeks families are invited to go treasure hunting, find out all about the birds & the bees, meet the deadliest creatures, be entertained by Skittleman and bounce on ultimate inflatables.
Each week will have extra themed activities alongside a full timetable of animal and play activities including lamb bottle feeding, sheep racing, new rat races, amazing reptiles and more.
Said Dave Finkle Farm Park Manager “Our themed weeks last summer were a real hit with families so we’ve made sure we’ve something new every week of the summer holidays again so there’ll never be a dull moment! From splatting paint to linking up with a real life Bee Farm, and from getting eyeball to eyeball with fierce reptiles to finding hidden treasure, there’s something for everyone and more reasons to visit than ever!”
