The first Barleylands’ children’s festival will be a treat for Essex youngsters when it takes place at the Billericay Farm Park at the end of August.
The five-day festival, which includes a host of fun filled activities and special events, runs from Monday 28th August until Friday 1st September and is aimed at families and children of all ages.
Hosted on the showground at Barleylands across two large marquees, there’s something for everyone.
From magicians, Punch and Judy shows and slapstick comedy to ventriloquists, balloon modelling, superheroes & princesses and a Toddler Tent, there’s lots on offer to keep your little ones entertained.
Three daily ‘Mad Science’ shows will cover topics from the Great Fire of London, Up Up and Away to Solids, Liquids and Gases. A giant inflatable village will include a fantasy run, pirate trail and Camelot castle.
Not only that, Barleylands staff are busy creating a brand new pedal go-kart track – perfect for youngsters to race around and let off some steam!
And the great news is that all of these extra activities are included in the entrance price!
Farmer Dave Finkle said: “We’re so excited to be hosting our first ever, week-long children’s festival.
