Changing Places Awareness Day – 19th July 2023
Back in May, we opened our brand new Changing Places facility. We are thrilled to be able to offer an accessible unit for those who need it.
We worked with Shelley (Fraser & Friends) and Lynette (Ramping it Up) who provided us with their lived experience of accessibility and equality to help make the farm park more inclusive. We listened to their day to day struggles when visiting public places and looking at how we can make our facilities more inclusive for everyone. We are now working on a second Changing Places unit that will be situated at the entrance of our Craft Village, by the main car park.
Ensuring our Farm Park is accessible for everyone is a big priority for us. Our Accessibility Guide shows all of the locations of the farm and how they can be accessed via a wheelchair.
