New Fudge to launch at Barleylands Festive Fair on Saturday 14th November
Barleylands Craft Village will come alive with seasonal cheer on Saturday 14th November as it hosts a special day of shopping, a morning farmers markets, family activities and live entertainment at its Festive Fair from 10am to 4pm.
Amongst the inspirational Christmas gifts on sale will be a brand new gourmet fudge courtesy of The Bon Bon Jar. The new ‘Biscoff’ flavour will be launching at the Festive Fair after a social media competition where followers voted for the biscuit spread as a new flavour.
Business owner Katie Allan has been selling handmade fudge, as well as many fantastic traditional and contemporary sweets for over seven years. Her homemade fudge has won awards at the Great Taste Awards and already consists of around twenty very unique flavours.
Said Katie Allan – “We wanted to give our customers a say in the new fudge so our facebook followers had a vote between White Chocolate, Cranberry & Pecan flavour, Christmas Pudding flavour and Biscoff flavour. The Festive Fair is the perfect time to officially launch the product and we’re sure the new fudge will be delicious!”
With just over 5 weeks left to Christmas the Festive Fair will give shoppers the opportunity to order bespoke and personalised gifts a world away from the high street all in time for the big day itself. Plus there’ll be off the shelf present ideas, outfits, farmers market stalls and more. Best of all shoppers will be supporting local businesses.
Said Barleylands Director Phil Burrows; “Our Festive Fair is a great opportunity to find perfect gifts and enjoy some seasonal family fun. We’ll have storytelling, entertainment, and there’ll even be the opportunity to get inside the Farm Park’s Giant Christmas Snow Globe ahead of December!”
Entry to the Craft Village Festive Fair and parking are both free. There is a £10 charge for groups to get inside the Snow Globe and have a photo taken with the profits going to charity.
