Planning your half-term activities? We think you might struggle to top this one…
It’s Lambing Season here at Barleylands and we will be opening the doors to our Lambing Barn to allow visitors to get up close to our fluffiest new arrivals. We are ‘expecting‘ on or around the 11th February 2023 and from the first arrival to the last it will be joyfully chaotic with endearing sound effects.
In between assisting the ewes through safe delivery, our shepherds will be on hand to answer all your questions. There’s even the chance that you might witness a live birth during your visit!
(We would advise that pregnant women avoid visiting the Lambing Live Barn)
Enjoy interactive talks about shepherding, suggest names for the new arrivals and compare how each ewe is doing in her mothering role. For some of them, it’s a first time event!
While you can’t always rely on the weather to play fair during half-term, you CAN rely on a day at Barleylands being packed full of things to do.
Activities included in the entry fee:
- Newborn lambs in the Nursery
- Speak to the shepherds
- Tractor Rides
- Outdoor Adventure areas
- Indoor Soft Play
- Exotic Animals talk
- Blasting Canon Zone
- Discovery Barn
- …and much, much more!
The Farm Park is always extra busy during lambing season so don’t be disappointed – book your tickets here.
