Barleylands Harvest on the Farm Hosts

The show was hosted by Strictly Come Dancing star, Helen Skelton and Escape to the Country’s Jules Hudson. The show was live every night at 8pm for 4 nights at the end of September and had an array of guests. Our staff enjoyed watching live from the set each night and loved being part of the team.
The Barnsley brothers from Cannon Hall Farm were here and did a hilarious Rob vs Dave challenge each night, which saw Dave scoop the winning race on the final evening, driving one of our farmular one cars.
The show shared how farmers during harvest time kept the country fed this year. Celebrating the best of British food, at a time when the weather makes the difference between a bountiful harvest and complete washout.
Our staff and family owners also appeared on the show each night, along with some of our animals. It was a wonderful week and Chris Philpot thanked all of the staff for their tremendous efforts over the week and the months leading up to the filming. A lot of work went into preparing the farm and the grounds for the show.
