Support all the small businesses at Barleylands Village this Saturday (3 December). It’s Small Business Saturday!
Small Business Saturday is a grass roots campaign that encourages people to support small businesses in their local community. Come and see the small businesses which make up Barleylands Village.
To mark the occasion, the Book Nut will be holding Christmas story telling sessions for children and families throughout the day (11am, 1pm and 3pm).
Meanwhile, at the Bon Bon Jar there will be fudge tasting for customers to enjoy. There will also be a charity raffle in aid of Fairhaven’s Hospice.
The 37 small businesses which make up Barleylands Village make it a great place to shop and grab some extra special Christmas presents.
The Village offers a wide range of items and gifts, many made on site by artisan craftsmen in their studios and workshops. There’s easy access and lots of free parking.
Phil Burrows, Director, at Barleylands: “Small businesses make a big difference and that’s why we are supporting Small Business Saturday this weekend. Barleylands is the perfect destination for a day out and for doing your Christmas shopping. We’re easy to reach and parking is free and our arts and craft workshops, shops and boutiques have stocked up with fabulous festive gifts to make your present buying simple and unique.”
Phil Burrows added: “Please support Small Business Saturday and come and celebrate the very best of artisan craft and produce in Essex.”
