Looking for things to do with the kids this Spring? For those of you who like to plan ahead, here are some of the most exciting upcoming Barleylands events! Have a browse, pop them in your diary and don’t forget to book your tickets early! Members will enjoy a 20% discount as well as the chance to book early. All required info can be found here.

Lambs Galore!

Spring is taken care of as our lambing will be well under way by then. This year, we have the advantage of an enormous extension to our lambing barn, creating even more room for our annual woolly wonderland. Shepherds on hand to answer questions from old and young alike.

Bluey! Bluey!

Well G’day folks! Those of you who are captivated by the adventures of this young lady will be delighted to hear that she will be visiting Barleylands on 11th and 12th March! And we know it’s not just the kiddies who love this family from Oz…Book tickets here.

Easter Fun

It’s always one of the most special times of the Barleylands year when we meet a plethora of Spring babies… this year promises new arrivals for the goats, the ducks, the rabbits, the chickens…the list goes on! New lambs will be arriving from early February. Join us for all the spring cuddles as well as crafting, lamb bottle feeding and more!

A Right Royal Dress Up

During May half term week, we will be inviting beautiful Princesses, handsome Princes (and, basically, anyone with a hint of ‘Royal’ about them) to be in as much attendance as possible at Barleylands.

Dazzling Dinosaurs

Yes! They’re returning to stomp, dance and entertain on June 23rd / 24th / 25th. For those of you who missed out last year, it was an unforgettable weekend. Although the dinosaurs were enormous, we found them to be remarkably well-behaved and actually quite friendly! So get these dates in your diary now.

Summer Days

Most of you are well aware of the fabulous entertainers who see us through the months at Barleylands. This year, expect to see familiar faces as well as some new ones. No matter when you choose to visit us, the summer weeks at Barleylands are guaranteed to be full of fun!

Paddington Returns

Due to popular demand, everyone’s favourite Peruvian bear has promised to visit us again (16th -17th) September. Apparently, he had SUCH a good time last year that he wanted to move in permanently. Sadly, his agent wouldn’t allow this as he is in great demand all over the country. Mind you, we are not entirely sure that we could have met the marmalade demand…
